LaserForm™ Stainless 316L

Austenitic stainless steel type 316L is the extra low carbon grade of 316, generally used because the parts can be machined, spark-eroded, welded, shot-peened, polished and coated if required. Typical applications include engineering for functional prototypes and small to medium series, parts requiring high corrosion resistance and sterilisability, pharmaceutical, food, chemical and process industry parts, and medical tools.  

LaserForm™ Ni718 is oxidation and corrosion-resistant material well suited for service in extreme environments subjected to pressure and heat. When heated, it forms a thick, stable, passivating oxide layer protecting the surface from further attack. It retains strength over a wide temperature range, attractive for high temperature applications where aluminum and steel would succumb to creep as a result of thermally induced crystal vacancies. In addition, LaserForm™ Ni718 features a gamma double prime strengthened with good weldability.

CoCr is a metal powder for additive manufacturing of highly corrosion-resistant industrial parts that require high temperature resistance.
